Page Timers – State regulations require that the course be six hours in length. All state approved courses must have timers to ensure that you review and absorb the content. To comply with this rule, each page in our course has a timer on it, which shows you how much time you must spend on that page before you can proceed. There may be times when you complete a page and there is still timer remaining, unfortunately you will have to wait for the timer to expire before moving forward. If a timer expires, you have 1 hour to move to the next page before you would be logged out for inactivity and asked to log back in.
Video Questions – After each video in the course, you will be required to correctly answer a question about the video to move to the next page. These simple questions are intended to make sure you watched the video.
Content Quiz – There is a short multiple choice quiz at the end of each unit. You will be given up to three attempts to score a 70% or higher and move to the next unit. Each attempt will have new questions.
Identity Validation – Regulations also require that we validate each user’s identity while taking the course. We do this by asking questions randomly during the course pertaining to the drivers license and license plate numbers you enter during the course registration. You must score 70% or above on these questions to complete the course. So it is helpful to have your drivers license and vehicle registration handy.
