Texas Drive Safe, in association with Driver Training Associates, provides Texas drivers with an online defensive driving program that is second to none.

This State of Texas approved course won't bore you with pages of statistics or dull comedians. Instead, we present actual driving scenes, interactive animations, and useful information that can help make you a better driver!

Getting started is easy. Complete the personal information and answer the security questions, then pay for the course and you're ready to begin.

You must spend a certain amount of time on each page before moving to the next page. Along the way, you will watch videos, read traffic safety information, and complete a few quizzes. At the end of the course, you must pass a 20-question final exam for which you will be given three attempts.

Defensive Driving Insurance Discount

This 6-hour defensive driving program is also approved for a Texas auto insurance premium discount up to 10%. This discount is authorized by Texas law, and we are approved by the Texas Board of Insurance to provide the course for this purpose.

This driving safety course can be combined with our online DADAP course for a potential insurance savings of 15%! Please note that while the DADAP discount is mandatory, the 10% driving safety course discount is granted at the discretion of your auto insurance provider. You must contact your agent to determine your eligibility.
